The VIA VT6421A Serial ATA RAID PCI Controller Card is what i have.. It works like a dream and only cost something like $4.00 USD.. I think monsterboy bought it for me one day, its nice. It works with everything I throw at it.
Monsterboy and I wrote this tutorial the first day we got ours;
I must admit i haven't used jungleflasher to read the eeprom off the motherboard like your trying to do. Personally, i think that may be for a JTAG box only.. not sure, maybe we should do some more reading.
Monsterboy has only just left for the army so he won't be much help unfortunately.

You have helped me alot.
that pretty much the same card i have. payed alittle more then that, but same chip set and one external sata and 2 internal sata and ide cable also.
quote me if i am wrong but being the xbox 360 works on the same bases as the orignial xbox, being you have to do things in order. when getting the hard drive to unlock at a certain time, i beleive this is the same way with the 360 when reading the eeprom off the mother board. I am not some computer genius, or programmer like yourself, but the basics all work the same i am sure.
I have an eeprom reader if you know which eeprom has to be read if i can read it with that. just as i had to with my orignal xbox.
I asked in my other thread , in major dvd problem, please read, and cuz the tut didnt say anything, and get back with me . Together we can make this work. MS did. we can do anything they can. on the postive note...lol

M8...The 1st xbox was hacked in like 2 days...or may be 1..
Do you think [email protected] make the same mistake with the 36O ??
The 1st xbox had eeprom....the 36O....has a key vault now.
Ask ureself why dose the 36O,now have a key vault.
Cos its a safe(you no what bank robbers take out of walls),and you need a key to unlock it.
Evan when you think you have cracked the safe(as in 36O) [email protected] patch it all up....Just to stop you,doing what you want to do. _________________________________________________________ IXtreme v1.9.
