So i was reading today's rag and spotted an article that stated our new broadband plan for australia ($40billion worth) will be capable of speeds up to 1gb per second. Laughing

good call, coz time will really tell, like 5-10yrs.. lol
Ill be happy when they just enable ADSL2 everywhere and thats only 20mb.

Most we get here on ADSL2 is 25 megabit's per second at $85 per month.
I have 10 MegaBit download and I get about 600KBps max. So 25 would be like, a little over 1.5 Mega Bytes per second.

Apparently comcast is suppose to get 100 megabit internet up and running here in a little bit. I don't know how much it's going to cost though.
