guess what guys.?!?!

Since reading about the DUAL FIRMWIRE 360 tutorial im going to attempt it myself and make my first homebrew mod for 360 and a tutorial to go with it with lots and lots of screens...

It will ofcourse have a switch to turn between the original and hacked firmware. I just have to check into which models are supported with the firmware whether its all console or only USA NTSC/UK PAL..

I know eventually it will work on all.. It would just be a edit of the firmware file no doubt in the header maybe.

Im not interested in backup games at all really but Im more interested in getting into modding this baby just for personal experience.

SO, with all that said im just going to write my own tutorial and add my own 2 cents to the install.. I plan on buying a new CORE system when i save the money and ill let you all know how i go.

I have no doubt i will be one of the first guys to get it running on the sites.. I cant wait for XBMC and the emulators thats my main reason..

Hopefully somewhere down the road in the near future we will hear more about homebrew.

btw.. I DO NOT SUPPORT GAME PIRACY IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM BUT AM ONLY INTERESTED IN HOMEBREW.. I OWN 50+ ORIGINAL XBOX GAMES and 23+ Xbox 360 Titles. I think theres proof in that pudding.

Yes I'll be following this closely as well.

Even though it probably wont be a while until I do something like this, mainly coz I dont really have the money or the space for a 2nd 360, so I'm gonna wait until some 360 homebrew comes out, then I can do what I do best Smile

maybe, just maybe.. since xbox 1 backups are already being detected on the xbox as xbox 1 games you can play those as well.. and if you can play those, whats stopping you from putting XBMC onto a dvd and loading it into the 360?

Xbox 1 backups work just fine with this as long as they are made the special way with the security sector and all, however xbmc isn't signed at all, much less by the specific key that MS says is ok, all backups are still signed until you mess with the xbe in some fashion, therefore what this mod does is just remove the mediaflag from play as it reports burnt media as xbox original media, and since the files aren't changed it lets it boot up, the only way this will help homebrew is if you are able to use some type of exploit with a media type file that isn't hashed on a game disk.
