Hey everyone my old 360 RR and is out of warranty so im buying a new one and thought i start modding. Im probably going to start in a week or two, right now im ordering parts and doing some research. i will post pics when i get started to let youguys know where i am. but my first question is before i order fans, i wanted to get the xmc high speed air cooler and the xmc core cooler v2 and possibly get somethiog like a 60mm fan to put on the plexiglass to help push out some more air, but you guys think that might be a lil to much for the fans?

With the older 360's the more fans the better..
I used to fit lots of whisper max fans to my modded cases and they worked a treat.. My first launch 360 from 2005 (USA LAUNCH) it lasted nearly 2 and a half years without a prob..
yea i probably will be safer with more fans cause i have no clue how old my 360 is, i got it off ebay used, all i know is its a halo 3 edition so its not the oldest out there and its starting to overheat so that is the first thing i gotta fix then my modding begins.

Ah, ok.. cool, well i hope you can get it sorted and have it as your second 360. Anyway, here are some tutorials which will help you determine how old your xbox is.
and here is a great tutorial which one of our admins wrote.. I've used the xecutor kit and the other RROD kits and they all work fine sometimes but not on every problem.
