hello everyone,i see vid on youtube that the xbox can play games from external hdd usb,how can i do that?and what xbreboot,xexloader,jtag has to do with this?
what hdd etxternal can i use(memory size,brand,etc).can hdd usb external ntfs play the games?or should i change it to fat 32?can i do this on my banned console?and btw the last question,what is jtagged xbox?
well to use a usb hdd to begin with it must be in fat 32 format. best prog. ive found for it is swissknife seeing as how windows me and up will only format 32gb or less in fat 32 as for the rest i have no clue _________________________________________________________

Well if you have the latest dashboard from xbox you will not be able to do any of this stuff. It requires a certain dash kernal 7xxx something i cant remember fully but u can get some more info here http://www.free60.org/Kernel and also requires soldering and getting the cpu key and dvd key and a bunch of other stuff i have not adventured that far into the jtag mod as i would like to see a chip come out that is pretty easy to install that i can run homebrew through and be able to update a lot easier then the rest.
If you are looking for one that is done up with the works and no hard drive and cables u can pick it up for about $200-300 depending on what type u want hdmi jasper example. the full works i see people selling some for $400+ so its crazy prices to me right now. what 400 usd?thats very high isnt it?i wont purchase that,i better solder it on my own....so first i must learn the lpt method,dumping nand,jtag hack,xbreboot v0.05(that can use in new update nxe)etc...easy to say but...this things are very tricky.but i will learn it in no time....i hope

this tutorial im linking you too will explain everything you need to know about homebrew for 360.

and i want to learn how to uncripple xbox 360,can i have the link?yesterday when im gonna dumping my nand,on my pc i got read flashconfig 00012000,what is wrong?maybe i should place a diode on my MB xbox?and could i just use only total commander,without degraded 1.1 for nand reading confirmation?and if i only want to uncripple my xbox(restore installation function after ban)i can done it without jtag hack right?only lpt method is needed and connect it to pc,am i right?

Ive never looked into unbanning a 360 yet but i do believe it can be done since several members here on HQ have mentioned it to me..
As long as you have a backup of everything like NAND, dvdkeys etc im sure there would be a tutorial to help you uncripple by replacing the data from an unbanned xbox 360.

no, you will need to perform the JTAG mod/hack before you can play games from an external hdd.. If you perform a dvdrom firmware mod by itself it will only allow you to play backups from the dvdrom drive and thats it.
So if you want homebrew or other functionality you will want to be looking into JTAG.
so the conclusion is,i only need to use this jtag hack,and xbreboot and im ready to play games from hdd right?how about xexloader,xexmenu?what software is that?or they were includes software on xbreboot?so when i flash this xbreboot on my xbox they(xexloader)automaticly appear on my xbox?and if the xbreboot is not exactly the software for playing games from any type of hdd ext,what is?should i flash xbreboot and xexloader seperately?oh yeah i found this link
