hiya i recently got my hands on a jasper elite, its less then 3 months old and i have the receipt for it but i have a problem with it, since it came out of the box the dvd drive shudders on opening, anyone know where i stand getting it repaired replaced or fix, ir eally dont want to open it up myself and dont want to fork out an arm and a leg to ms for a repair but i dunno what to do.

If the console has not been open meaning the seal is still intact then you register it or who ever owns it does and send it back off to ms if you want the thing fixed right, it should still be covered under the 1 year warranty on anything wrong with the console and 3 year warranty on 3rod or E74. _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!

issue resolved - called ms and a very friendly women took my xbox serial number, told me it was in warrenty (which i knew) offered me to either have the courier bring the labels or email said it would suit me to be sent by courier, was told 3 days to collect was collected the very next day i was surprised. Its now in germany i think at the europe repair centre getting sorted hopefully! excellent customer service, and im getting a month free xbox live card woo hoo! was worried about dealing with ms, interested to see what comes back lol but hipefully will be same console repaired only minor issue so should be! thanks scarface!

Yep not a problem if its just a dvd problem they probably just put a new dvd drive in just look it over when you get it back to see if its all scratched up case and that. Sometimes they are known to do that but for it being pretty new i think you will get it back the same way just fixed.
I have no problems with ms i do not even call them lol. I log onto my account then i register the consoles and then request a repair even if it say 1 year is up u still got that coverage like i stated before on the e74 and 3rod and thats what the ones i been getting in are and i just print the shipping label myself from there site and box the xbox 360 and mail it that day or next day. glad that you are getting your problem resolved but and thats what we are here to do is help maybe see you soon online for a game when you get it fixed. _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!
