Is it possible to flash my Hitachi LG version 00047D with my laptop and if so can you please post a guide and maybe tell me about these chipsets ect.

Also could you use a SATA to USB connector to do the flashing?

Not to sure on this one dude, Would be interesting if you could though.

I guess it all would depend on the chipset of the sata to usb

yeh, good luck with that one.. Not sure of anyone on the HQ who has done it via laptop yet apart from using a USB connectivity kit.
