Is it true that nylon washers expand over time after you have done the 360 Xclamp fix and cause the RROD all over again?

Yep, had it happen and now that 360 is completely hooched. Just go with metal washers, they won't be long enough to touch any components.

My xbox have metal, nylon and spring washers. The RRD came back again I wounder what went wrong too.

Since you used spring washers im guessing you got the panhead screws instead of the cheesehead like me, just wanting to know if its a must to get the spring washers thnx.
