Does anyone know how to take downloaded content, like music videos and television programs, from the 360 hdd so it can be burned to dvd. I have an Xport 360 and can back up my hdd and see the files but I'm not sure what format they are in.

yeh, thats the problem i found too.. I could access some files by just adding a fileextension to them but others were difficult. You would really need to learn more about the xbox 360 filesystem.
Im pretty sure most of the filenames are generated from your unique keys (which are on the motherboards, dvdrom etc).
I have hardware so i can copy stuff over too and was interesting in ripping the latest game trailers for the site but never got back to it..
Try search our homebrew database for a tool which could be helpful. We list every single homebrew app.
