1. The wireless adapter would work fine. Your ipod loads slow because it's an ipod. You could easily run a cord though if it's only 25 feet away. Heck they make 50 ft ethernet cords.
2. I would say you would most likely play halo 3 more.
3. You don't need a battery pack for your controller but it make it's much easier when you need to change your controller batteries. Instead of always buying batteries you just plug it in.

I have that exact same router, I do use it wireless for other computers in other rooms and the signal is great even with the router signal strength set to lowest level.
how ever I have not used the Wireless system on the xbox so cant realy comment on that issue.

As for the 2 games, I would think more people have halo 3 but i dont think you would have any problem finding people to play with on ither game, Heck I still play battlefield 2 and have no problem getting full rooms. They are 2 totaly different game play styles. You can try out the demos or barrow from a friend to see which you think is best for your money.

On batteries, I personaly ditched the standard battery packs and opted for rechargeable Duracell NiMH AA batteries, they last me much much longer, Days longer before dying. I would go with the 1800mAh or larger versions of the batteries.

I'm with gameover, do not get the battery pack, it is absolutely rubbish. I bought 4 rechargable uniross 2700mah batteries with charger for less than the battery pack costs and they are 100 times better.

DO NOT whatever you do buy the xbox 360 official network adapter. It is way overpriced and you can one thats way better for way less. Go to walmart and get yourself a belkin gaming adapter. Last time I checked they were 39.99 and I have used mine for over a year and a half now and it gets a great signal and I never have had problems with lag with it. But yeah the official xbox network adapter is junk. Get that Belkin gaming adapter and plug it into the xbox and thats it. It does the rest...it finds your router and everything. Oh by the way congrats on getting your 360! Very Happy

is this a wireless accec point or what and are you sure it will find my router and will it reach 35 feet? because the 100 dollars is a lot of money but if they work the same idc i just want to make sure it will work because the network adapter is made for the 360 and has a better chance of connecting.

I agree with reb. You can only use the 360 adapter on the 360. If you buy the belkin one it will have a longer lifespan (can still use it once the 360 is no longer in use) and they are cheaper. They do the same job, don't let M$ trick you. Reb is on about an Access Point.

Another alternative is the homeplug network adapters, about the same price as the 360 adapter but they work over house wiring.

Just make sure you do your homework before forking out any money.

Yeah it will find your router no problem. I constantly switch it from my xboxs to my computer system and it never has a problem finding my router. It will work perfectly. Very Happy
