I am not trying to be naughty and bump my gamerscore, but i want to know about getting hold of xbox 360 game saves.
Heres the deal. COD 4, almost at the end on Veteran hardness, my 6 year old next door neighbour comes over and starts a new game... bastard. Gears of War, almost on the last level on the hardest setting, bought a hard drive and copied over the game save from my memory stick, sold the memory stick and the game save didn't work so had to start again.
I'm only interested in seeing about getting those 2 (i wanna start from where i left off, not cheat to get the remaining points) as the were pretty hard to get to where i got and i can't be bothered to play them all over again.
Got my connectivity kit and can connect to the computer with xplorer360 but need to know where to go next.

I still have the achievements, it is just the position where i was in the game that i have lost, have to start all over again.
Think i'm sorted now anyway.

What i am going to do won't affect my gamerscore. I'll just put on a game save nearest to the point in the game i was at before (a game save before and not one after the point i was previously at). _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.
With COD 4 you can just start on the mission you were on in the mission select then set the difficulty to veteran. _________________________________________________________

Ya you still will because you get the achievements based off completing the level on a certain difficulty. You don't even have to play them in order as long as you play the level on veteran at one time. _________________________________________________________

Interesting topic..
Achievements are just not a big deal to me anymore.. Sure, I love to get achievements but now i just finish the game as it was meant to be finished..
For anyone whos asking the answer is "I don't support gamesave cheating as its a waste of my time".
Talk about it as you like but i wont be helping support it thats for sure.
Save cheating is easy to do.. Go and download someone elses game save and get achievements for doing nothing but i appreciate the game. Ive lost heaps of gamesaves in my time but ill just start it again..
I know of many people who downloaded gamesaves only to have their accounts reset to zero and unable to get those achievements ever again.
Most gamesaves are now signed and you need to use more tools to even get saves working i hear..
Everyone has their own choice to make with gamesaves. Just don't complain when your score is reset.
The 360-HQ site shows cheaters, everyone knows you can only get so many points per day and within an hr.. JBRIZZEL was a great example of a gamesave cheater and he was just reset the other week.
