Hi there.

I want play my xbox 360 in 5.1 so would like to connect the 360 to my Home Cinema that has an ac3 input (6 audio cables)

Is there any 360 cable for it???

So your home cinema is 5.1? the easiest way to get connected is an optical audio cable, they plug right into the back of the 360 video cables, they are also known as TOSLINK cables.

Thanks but I can not because my HC dont have an input for that type of cable.

I have something like this:



I need to connect 6 audio cables, I remember xbox1 had it

After some "googling" I found out that the 5.1 output of 360 is only available on optical.

So only be able to connect 2 RCA audio cables which only gives stereo\pro logic Crying or Very sad

It says optical in the very bottom right hand port. What is that?

The thing that says optical is the optical audio cable also known as TOSLINK (you just have to pull the protective plug out), if you have any questions setting it up let us know

Its an old box... I played DreamCast and xbox1 when i bough it...

I guess I will be playing in Pro Logic Sad cause I dont have time to buy a new one.

you could purchase a TOSLINK to RCA convertor im sure. I have seen many styles even ones that convert TOSLINK FIBRE OPTIC to RCA or Headphone jacks.

have a look.. Smile.. Apart from that it may be time to upgrade your amplifier!
