Dont know how many of my fellow HQ members still play Call of Duty World at War, but just a heads up on some changes in the game.
Of course there is the new Makin map.(Available for free download now.) Its the same map but now it is day time, low tide (the water is beyond the fence so no more hiding from the dogs there, and there is a lot of added cover like boxes and small upturned boats, a couple small fences in the jungle/temple area at top of the creak giving more cover etc.
The second new thing (as of yesterday afternoon) if you play on a hard core match, you will now see that the tanks have been removed.
I am not a tank user myself but I have to say I kind of like the maps better with them, Its a little too quiet and the game play is a bit slower now. I think the tanks added excitement, some love it some hate it some dont care.
and last but not least, sometime this month (march) we are going to get the new map pack and zombie stuff (not sure if its a whole new map for zombies or just improvements to the origional)
Anyway, would like to see some of you guys there once in a while.

Yeah I though the tanks made it more interesting too I use them now and then but not a heap.
I liked the new Makin being free too download and I hope they keep em coming.

I hated the tanks to tell the truth, cause you some kid in there and they stayed in the tank the whole match get like 30 kills and all you hear in the lobby while waiting for the next match to start is how much of a beast they are, it get really annoying after awhile it doesn't take that much skill to spend the whole match in a tank

Just heard from a not for sure sorce, Rumor really, that the new map pack comes out on the 9th of this month, but this rumor is probobly from confusion or not so careful reading of the announcement of the map pack coming out Mrach 09' not march 9th. I will just assume it is coming out march 31st so I will not get frustrated as the days tick by.
price will be somewhere between 800 and 1,000 microsoft points. Will post if I find anything solid.
I wonder if cod4 plans on ever releasing some new content?
Me and Wes were talking on the phone the other day and he mentioned that call of duty 4 modern warfare 2 was coming out and I am really pumped about that. I was a one of the original beta testers on call of duty 5 world at war and I just never got into it at all but I can guarantee that when cod4 modern warfare 2 comes out you will be seeing me alot more on xbox live. I just loved the whole this is what is happening now feeling of the first one. _________________________________________________________
