I've seen searching all morning for a link for the fan shroud mod tut. Does anyone know how to do this mod? _________________________________________________________

Not sure if you know what it is but you attach 3 bits of cardboard to the plastic cover that directs the air to the fans. 2 bits go over the heatsinks (about half way over) and the third part goes vertically in between the fans so that the fans are partitioned (one fan for each heatsink). Use electrical tape (or whatever) to attach the cardboard to the heatsinks and plastic shroud so that the fans get as much suction as they can. Think there are a couple of gaps in the shroud that you can tape up also.
Hope that makes sense.
Do not know where there is a tut i'm afraid. _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.
That seems easy enough. So is it suppose to cover the whole heatsinks. _________________________________________________________

You can cover the whole heatsink. Think the idea M$ had was that the dvd drive would act as a shroud. _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.

Hi guys,
Just found this cool accessory that might interest ya.
That does look pretty cool man. I guess when I do the complete x-clamp fix on my console I'll have to do this. _________________________________________________________
This is a very easy mod to do and I recommend everyone who has opened this console do it. Just use thin cardboard and electrical tape. I've never put the cardboard in between the heatsinks because I don't see it being a big help but its worth a shot. Here are some pictures they're from my phone so not the best but you get the idea. I know the fans aren't in (my 360 got RROD so i'm going to fix it) just popped the shroud on to show everyone.
