Okay heres what happend:

Bought a new xbox 360, wanted it moded like the first xbox I owned, which was to buy a mod
chip and get a bigger hd and then put my backups on my hd. Well I found out that I cant do
that with the 360 and then i found out about flashing the firmware of the od and was
intrigued. So i did some studing about this read a few tutorials and found out that you
need to open up the xbox 360 (just like when i modded my xbox), you needed a specific type
of firmware for each od, you need a sata hookup for the drive, a drive that burns your new
backups, and a drive which can read the old disc, and if using xbox live you need to
update your fw regularly.

So I bought a Blaster 360 from team xecuter, so i wouldnt have to open the 360 but only
once. Hooked everthing up correctly and started to do the mtkflash read command.

PROBLEM: I could not find my drive for nothing. I tired /sata on my commands and nothing.

I thought there was something wrong with the blaster so i took it back apart after trying
everything in mtkflash, iprep, and sam360. Come to find out that i had not hooked up the
blaster 360 correctly in the first place and fried one of the chips that came with it.

So then i put the 360 back to factory style (without the blaster 360). Put in a game and
it played so i was like whew.

So i waited a few weeks and then i got another blaster 360. Hooked it up and started to
go back to iprep. It found my drive on the read portion and got a copy of my orig.bin
file. But when i got finished getting the key and spoofing the firmware to ms25.

PROBLEM: Headed back into iflash and i could not see my drive.

Again tried to mtkflash read, found my drive, but on write it would not do anything. So
i again was stumped. So i took it apart (again) and come to find out the blaster was only
pluged in half way (yes i messed up twice in the same spot on the same part, the blaster
360). People whom are familiar with the blaster, the top chip that you need glasses to put
in the holes, the one with all the prongs and the small holes, it connects to the top
portion of the blaster 360 that lights up. Anyways i had not pushed the prongs in far enough
or the stickyness from the other chip got less sticky and was not able to get a good
connection.

But nothing was fried this time so i pushed in the blaster 360 part together and made sure
i had a good connection.

Went back into iprep and tried to do a flash and this time it worked out. I was so happy.

NOTE:
I should have done another idump before i did the flash because the prongs were not
all the way in!

Poped in a burt game i had and played it just fine. I was so stoked you could do this!

Anyways a few months go by, im playing on live and having fun and im on a 360 mod forum
somewhere and find out that i had flashed with the wrong fw. It was the old fw (xtreme 53)
and not the iXtreme 1.4. So i thought that i was screwed and had messed up my live account
but it turned out i didnt.

So i go back to the old mtkflash and have my blaster 360 hooked up to my computer via 6421
and molex power in it and after all that hard work I found out that i could not read or write
my drive this time.

By now i was going crazy. Doubble checked my blaster to make sure it was hooked up correctly.
It was hooked up fine. So then i got another idea.

I took off my blaster 360 and tried to hook up my computer to my 360 without the blaster 360.
the normaly hard way i like to put it:-P After doing this i found my drive on my computer.
Went to reflash it with the ixtreme 1.4 fw and all i get was the sound of death. tried to do idump
to see if it would do anything with the hacked fw on the box it first would find my sata connection
to the od but after selecting the xtreme pri master option the thing just pause and do nothing.

PROBLEM: Couldnt get my xbox to do anything after the xtreme pri master option in mtkflash.

So a few weeks go by and i found out that on the ms28 drives they had been doing a (10 second trick).
This intrigued me to try this on my xbox 360, after all its almost a 400 dollar paper weight anyways.

Tried the 10 second trick on my ms25 drive and it starts to read, (without using the blaster 360)
but when trying to flash (my computer overheats alot so it shuts down sometimes, not all the time tho)
my computer shuts off mid flash.

So now im stuck with a half flashed drive, so i bought another ts-h943 ms25 drive on ebay for cheep.

Hooked up the new drive when it arrived and then when it found the drive on the xtreme pri master option
i swapped out the new drive to the old one and then proceeded to REREflash it:-P It flashed perfectly.

A couple weeks go by and im playing my favorite game Halo, well anyways im on the campain mode and
tried to kill some stuff when all the sudded i walk away from my 360 and come back to my game and find
that the game has got a few glitches. Like it stutters with the picture as if it almost is a scratched
disc. But the disc was a brand new backup. So i was confused.

PROBLEM: A few more months pass and now the glitches are more and more and some games arent playing.

Now im trying to play my favorite game (Halo) on campain mode and nothing happens except for the loading
screen and then it says it has a dirty disc inside the drive and quits. I tired to play other games and
they play for like 2 hours into the game and then it gets to a loading page and stops loading and says
the disc is damaged or needs cleaned.

I tried to hook back up my blaster 360 to my 360 and tried to read flash mod hack wack toss and break the thing but nothing happends. same old glitches and stop loading at loading pages of games.

the 360 will play movies with no problems at all however.

Here are the problems and questions:

Question 1. Since I read my orig.bin file with my blaster 360 half way hooked up, Could this possiably
gave me a corrupt orig.bin file?

Question 2. Does anyone know why my games will not play like they should be playing, meaning why do they
stutter and glitch up when the disc is orig/new/or even a back up thats new or old?

Question 3. Having my 360 on its side from opening and reading and reflashing it over and over and taking
the 360 apart, will this hurt the od?

Question 4. I flashed another persons hitachi just fine, his is working properly, Can i buy a hitachi for
my 360 and flash it the hitchi way and get the results that i did for my friend?

Here is what i think:

Definatly reading the orig.bin file with the blaster 360 hooked up improperly didnt help, even with me
flashing over it without making sure that i have a proprer orig.bin file.
The motor in the old dvd drive is acting the same as the new one i just bought for the 360 swap trick.
It goes very slow and sometimes stops when trying to open, i think that from laying the 360 on its side
i have messed up soemthing else besides the drive. but maybe not, im just parinoid. I really take pills:-P
I think if i bought a new hitachi drive it would work but im a newbie at this stuff.

Wish this was as easy as puttin evo x on my xbox and throwing in a 120gig hd in it but owell.

Any help would be appreciated!
