ok so it bothered me that the silver piece that goes around the hard drive was blue (I painted it that way not thinking about it) and everything else was clear like the dvd bezel and the faceplate accessories so i decided to order a clear HDD cover and use the clear piece from it and im very pleased with the results I think it gives it a more completed look. I had to cut down the metal frame that holds the HDD to allow more light to come though.

As I said before, you are a case mod god lol. Did you do the DVD window yourself, or use a kit? _________________________________________________________

well i dont know about being a case modding god. as for the dvd window i have a ben-Q drive so i just cut out the raised circle above the disk and sanded and painted it leaving a small part to hold the center of the drive it clicks now from the magnet releasing the top part off the spindel when the disk is going in or out but you dont even notice it theres no plexi on it because the top of the spindel is raised the only down side is it needs to be cleaned once a month becase of dust but i dont even have to open the case to do it because i can see what im doing from the front _________________________________________________________

I love the HDD casing. Your cuts on the window are very clean.
Well done.
