OK, I'm well aware this is an XBOX 360 website, but there are lots of knowledgeable people here.
My oldest son, the "owner" of my modded Halo Xbox, has, to my disappointment, decided to cross over to the dark side and wants to order a PS3.
Well, he's still my son and I want to make him happy.

I have a friend that works at gamestop, as soon as he hears that they are accepting preorders he is putting $50 down for me within the hour. I don't know if I'll keep it or not, but I might as well buy one. _________________________________________________________

I would guess the store, as you will be one of (probably 20-30 per store) instead of 1 of several hundred that preorder online. Just ask them how many they have already gotten preordered. They should tell you. _________________________________________________________
