I came accross some vinyl decals and hadn't seen these before. They look quite good and are 60%+ cheaper than getting a new case.
Has anyone had any experience with them? They look good on the web sites but wanted to know if they looked that good once you got them yourself. I'm sure they are a bugger to put on but they do say you can peel them off and re-apply.
Another question about these is would they work as an insulator and retain some of the heat inside the xbox?

Ok, i might invest in one then. Seen some nice Halo 3 ones but am looking for a good Gears one.
Was it a misson to put the stickers on or was it quite easy lining them up do you know?

Best tips i could say is make sure ur doing it with 2 people its easyer that way and you wont mess anything up. but ya usually you can retake off and put back on if u mess up but sometimes its a pain when u get a crease. _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!

I'll be doing it on my Jack so i'm bound to have some fun.
I suppose it is like when people used to take the cheaper option (they may still do) and buy sheets of tinted vinyl for their car windows. You always knew who they were because not only would the car look like it was worth £20 in the first place, but the vinyl would have creases all over it where it was bodged

i did same thing to my car came out perfect with help no creases or anything like that but after about 6months the cops told me i had to take it off cause the legal tint in the state of minnesota is 20% and i was rolling 2% lmao so they couldnt see nothing. They would walk up to my car with guns drawn ha. But i did take it off because i didnt want to get a ticket. _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!

lol, bet it wasn't too good to drive at night.
Anyway, i've decided to go with something suttle, anything to extreme wouldn't look quite right in my living room. I should get it in the post in a couple of days and i'll let you know how i get on.
Rebelcharm, i know you were looking to paint yours, i dunno if you knew but these sites that do 360 vinyl decal's also do custom ones so you can create your own, but you cannot use copyrighted pictures, otherwise i may have designed a streetfighter one.

Id look around before you make your final decision. You might be lucky and find something else. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

I had a look around and most of them were on ebay and they looked a bit ropey, don't think you got the vinyl to go over the memory card slots and usb door. There was decalgirl.com (i think) also but i went with sontin.co.uk. I just wanted something and all the decal's i saw were nothing amazing. The one above i posted looks nice and that'll do me.
