I heard that the current 360 games are running on 1 or 2 processors at the most. Rumor has it that the big MSOFT is doing this so SONY doesn't really know what this already incredable machine is capable of. Halo 3 is supposed to be the first game to use all three. If this is true running all 3 would be pretty amazing and would either burn a hole in my entertainment stand or catch my house on fire If any one could shed some light on this subject this would be great.
PS-If any of you administrators are in the Chicago land area let me know...you have got to see the 360 in action on my 120 inch DLP HD projector!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the 360 has one processor, with 3 independant cores. the launch titles are actually running on one or two and not using the complete power of the system yet. this has nothing to do with being sneaky and holding out the good stuff until the competition comes out. it has to do with the game developers that started making these games before a devkit was available. they were using souped up g5 systems for early development for these because m$ didnt ship the devkits until mid-summer. the games that are in development now have the full power of the system available to them, and will continue to get better as the developers learn to code more efficiently for the 360s triple core. notice that the latest xbox games look way better than the old ones, its a matter of learning to optimize code for a particular hardware setup _________________________________________________________ .
