We have sections to show off just about everything, but I've noticed there is one area that wasn't touched. So I'll start this off, I always love seeing others desktop's, and how they have set them up.
I run kubuntu 7.04 (the newest build), I've always been a windows user, but as of lately, I was getting tired of it. Vista is nice, but the demands are a little step for my tastes. Linux has come along ways since I last touched it, and its very powerful. It offers everything you do on windows, but the software is open licensed and free. Just a download away.
The best part most of the programs are not bloated and are still feature rich. However windows does hold the gaming side of Os's. So if your a gamer you might want to dual boot Linux. That way you can still game on windows, and do the rest on Linux.
Also before you commit to Linux they have livecds, that you can run the operating system off, to get used to it, and see if it fits your needs. It installs nothing and is fully functional.
I only installed new icons, that better fit my idea of a desktop, and a firefox theme that uses your current desktop colors. Other then that I edited all the colors myself, and matched them to everything. All my programs run this color scheme so they all blend very nicely.

I have been running Ubuntu 6.06 for PCs as a samba server.
(And another installation on an older Powerbook G4)
The PC server is great, it is up for multiple weeks at a time without failing or stalling. I love it. I run it as a headless setup and connect via VNC and SSH. _________________________________________________________ XBOX v1.6

I have a headless server as well, and find the server editions of windows never really gives me problems at all. Just the editions that I use on a daily basis. Theres a few things that I use windows for, so its nice just rdping to my box.

Here's my work desktop as it's work I'm running win 2000 professional.
Been doing a bit of digging lately and think of taking plunge and installing Kbuntu as a duel boot option on my home PC, the Beryl desktop looks quite good.

I always hated that language bar, and speech bar. Every now and then it would pop up to pester me. Its easy enough to swat away with the mouse, but still got annoying after awhile.
