As you can tell I don't know nothign about mod chips lol every forum site I go to they all talk about mod chips but what in the hell are they and what do they do.
The best method that I've done is get a Samsung 162c dvd rom with the Kreon firmware and xbox backup creator. ~10mins to extract the image and ~40 mins to burn to a quality DL disc, can't get any easier. There is also the hotswap method, look in the tutorials section for a howto on this, I didn't have a good success rate with this that's why I ended up picking up the Samsung dvd rom that I mentioned earlier.

so your saying if i were to get that samsung thing i could go to blockbuster and rent games then make copies of them to keep for myself?
No, I'm not saying that as piracy talk isn't permitted here. What I am saying is if you bought a game and want to back it up so you can keep your original safe that's how you would do it.

I heard you can be banned from Xbox Live if you have a modchip. Is this true? I'm surprised there's no sticky on this topic... _________________________________________________________ I love my white and chrome 360!
