Posted: Tue Nov 07, 2006 1:17 am Post subject: NHL 2K7: Problem with achievements in a game (help!)
Here is the deal, I got some achievements in NHL 2K7 already, but then you are supposed to get one by winning the stanley cup in Franchise mode on Pro difficulty or higher, thing is I've done this and did not get the achievement. I even played another whole season and won the cup again, but still no achievement, also double checking I met all the requirements.
One thing that struck me odd is I was playing the final game for the cup, and midway through the first period I lost control of any character, and then then end game screen came up for no reason. So my only option was to exit the game and replay the final game. And I think that did something for me not to get achievements on this game anymore.
I played another game and got achievements there, so atleast I am getting them with other games, but it bugs me that I've met the requirements for about 3 achievements in NHL 2K7 but cannot get them.
Anyone else come across not getting achievements? or any ideas for what I can try to get it working properly?

Hi mate,
Sometimes you will find that not all achievement are giving straight away.
Im not positive about NHL but it sounds like you will get it later on once you start another xbox live game or something..
I found this problem with a few games.. I personally dont have NHL but im guessing that may be the prob.
sup lobbdog, im havin the same problem but not with the same achivement, i cant get the dynasty achievment, jw if you ever figured out what it was

I think alot of games just have some screwed up code. I have tried to get the achievement on Rainbow 6 vegas where you play every map in every game mode. I have done this several times and no achievement. I think it may have something to do with downloading extra maps.
even so I did a check list, every map even the new ones on every mode even the new modes, made sure each was ranked to be safe, and that each game was played from start to finish. It took several days each time and no achievement, Since then I have totaly lost intrest in achievements all together, I use to get hooked on achievements but now dont try to get any at all. just do what I like in the games now.
But hope you get your achievement, and just know the problem is probobly not you, its the game.
Dont even get me started on Leaderboards, those boards have been hacked so bad its not even funny.
for instance on Battlefield 2 there is a leaderboard for average kill death ratio per game, not over all but per game, the top guys have a death kill average per game of over 300/1, that is obviously 100% BS considering skilled players average 4/1 to 6/1
then we have people that are getting paid to rank your gamer score up for you. so leaderboards, achievements and gamerscore all realy hold no weight.

Yea, I have the problem with the dynasty one. I have won 4 cups in a row, and no achievement.
Edit:
Franchise needs to be82 games long and playoffs have to be 7 games long.
