OK, so i am looking into buying a premodded 360. I modded my original xbox an i love being able to play games from my hdd. First of all, if I buy one with the Globe chip in it; will it be able to do the same stuff as my original xbox? ei= copying games (I OWN) onto the hdd? or will i only be able to play burned cdrws of my game? Please Help, its friggin confusing sometimes. thank you!

Hi ElJefe61333 and welcome to HQ,
Ok.. First of all let me just mention that we DO NOT support piracy here..
We do on the other hand support burning your own backups from originals as many of us know how much they cost when the kiddies break them..
At this stage in the game the xbox 360 isnt really modded at all apart from being able to play backups once you have a chip or firmware installed..
You will need to get a Dual Layer DVD Burner to backup your original xbox 360 games too..
Its really nothing like the xbox1 (modded) console just yet but fingers crossed it wont be too much longer.
Im personally more after emulators, media player etc..

Hi ElJefe61333 bro
nice to see u join this good old comunity
2 questions u have 2 ask ur self:
1 chip umm as i know ALL are experimental
2 flash , umm what drive do i have??
It's a mine field out there lol
Globe chip, ??
it's the newest best featured as far as i know
(got the latest globe FW heheh) works for any drive
flash, best @ moment as stelth is the word
ease of install, flash is best, newer drives
full of resin to prevent chipping ( not to much
of a prob, but older drives easier) many tuts out
there but can get confusing.
Backups ( of games you own) 2 sorts
extreme and mne 3.0
so far flash mods use extreme type backups
chips use mne 3 type
(not sure globe may use extreme type also)
hope this helps and don't get u to confused lol
Cheers
