Just read on www.xboxic.com that M$ is banning modded 360's.

The story makes me think that they are banning IPs as well as MACs or at least useing them to identify suspect users. I hope this is not the case. I can't imagine why someone would have 2 360s banned if they are using different accounts unless they are tying a modded one to an IP.
I have no intention of modding my 360 but I was thinking about buying a second one for the kids. _________________________________________________________

put it this way. My machine is chipped and i use it on XBOX LIVE everyday.
I must admit thought i have not run a backup disk yet..
My machine is constantly connected to xbox live really so i can keep an eye on things.. I cant see how they could ever detect a modchip on the dvdrom drive.. I just cant see how it would be possible..
Firmware on the other hand is entirely different.. I can see how and why they would be able to catch modded xboxes this way. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

If I get it Ima be pissed, cuz I havnt done a damn thing to my 360.... although I will when its lifespan goes out and M$ comes out with another system
