The shortage of Xbox 360's is allowing Ebay members to cash in on the desperate gaming community. I'd hazzard a guess and say that plenty of people who pre-ordered their console were not gamers, but people hoping to make a fast buck... Hey, it's the the american way - right?

Hobbs it's the same thing as those that gouge when disasters happen. Same damn train of thought. There is the American way, then there is sheer greed. But demand can indeed pay off it those folks really need the fuggin thing. After hurricane Katrina, gas prices here doubled and some stations went far beyond that. The gouging wasn't the big corps, it was the station owners milking us for all we are worth. Same shit here. Too bad that those we counted on are also those that would stoop to this level. Fuggem, I hope they choke on it. Rat Bastards. _________________________________________________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

i just didnt realise how bad it is..
Ive been working away here in my little den for ages getting ready for the release.. Im not pissed at members overall at all.. Just venting frustration coz i had finally gotten a plan for the site to pay for itself basically.. And it all went to shit. heheh
its all good.. It will work out.. btw.. I hope you didnt think that i expected people to buy my 360.. I told you all i had money ready.. well atleast i hope i told you all.. (most of the admins)) hehhe
You know on some food or drinks it says not intended for resale... can't they do that w/360's too? I dunno, but it seems pretty wrong to me that people are allowed to rob from people like that.

I totally agree..
Should be a NOT FOR RESALE type scenario in place for sure.
I was so dissappointed when i got reports of all of this..
It meant i was going to be having alot of trouble to get one for legitmate reasons.. (reviewing games etc).
Prices are dropping off...but i wonder if people will start going crazy again when they realize they can't get it for xmas and have to buy it somewhere....bam, prices go up and the gouging starts once again. _________________________________________________________ Xbox V1.6

Yup, the prices on Ebay are just ridiculous!!!!! That's what scaring me about trying to order over the net, that and the fact that games are crashing probably due to some heat issuse with the new console. Look at it this way guys, at least we have our boxes modded with plenty of good titles still left to enjoy for the meantime. _________________________________________________________ Xbox V1.3

I am not even going to lie but I have 2-cores and 1-Premium. I was going to keep the Premium, shhh until I saw this one guy sell his for like 7,500.00. I was like dammmmm so I wanted to see if I could sell mine for that much.
Well I am just going to try and sell the core systems and in hopes to make a little extra on them for standing in line with my girl.
Oh yeah for those of you trying to sell your 360 be super careful because there are people out there trying to rip us off.
I had this one guy send me a bogus PayPal e-mail it was a good thing that I looked into it otherwise I would have been a@#$ out of a system.
