Here is a direct quote from the news page:
---
Have you ever wanted to boost your GamerScore with little or no effort. You have tried having loads of mates round helping you boost your score but still it just does not seem to be going anywhere near the kind of elite score you would like!
Well it seems there is now a way for you to boost your GamerScore by barely lifting a finger. The people over at www.levelmy360.com will do all the hard work for you and help you get that elusive GamerScore you have always wanted.
They offer a service that will boost your GamerScore by either 500, 750, 1000, 1500, 2000 or 3000 points! Now I guess this could be handy for people that just cannot get their GamerScore up no matter how hard they try or maybe for the Achievement addicts out there.
Soooo, how does all this work then? Do they Hack your gamer card? Well in a word NO! The system works by you choosing the package (as above) that you want and then sending them payment via PayPal, yes thats payment ladys and gentleman. I'm sorry did you think this would be free?
The next step is for you to supply them with your Password for your Profile and they then get one of their elite players to go off and boost your score to the purchased amount.
Dead simple I hear you all say, well personally I think its a pretty bad way to get GamerPoints, what i'm getting at here is that if you cannot get be bothered to boost your own score then why are you playing games at all?
We all know that your GamerPoints are linked to Achievements which in turn are linked to you completing certain objectives in the game. So if you cannot be bothered to get them Achievements then surely you cannot be bothered to play the games themselves?
There is also one little thing biting at my heals here, where is your credit card details stored for your L!ve subscription? I cannot be 100% sure where they are stored but I know you can access them from the MS website and not just your Xbox. So you might want to remove them details before willingly handing over your login details.
So is this service purely aimed at the people that want to be Elite (without any hard work involved) or people that just cannot be bothered? Mmmm, well I think thats for you lot to decided. Is it right for someone to pay somebody else to boost their points while you have to work hours just to get 50 points?
We would love to here your views on this subject and as such we have opened up a discussion, so please do help us figure out whether this is a good thing or not and whether you would use the service.

I have to say this is a pretty sad thing to see, I guess it has its place like most things and a lot of people will use this service but I for one am against it. Seems pretty pointless to me. _________________________________________________________ JAy3k1

I agree, the type of people who use this type of service are the type of people who cheat at games on line (but that’s another discussion)
I have heard of this sort of thing before, where you give over your details and they go and spend loads on the marketplace and the refuse to give your gamer tag back. If they have your password then they can change it and lock you out of your own account. _________________________________________________________

It is almost like cheating in online games due to the fact people see your score, check your achievements and think WOooow..! Not quite, but you know where i'm coming from.
This is very true eltsha and something I did not really cover in the story, you would hope that they would not be able to get away with that sort of thing on a mass scale as this seems. For sure it could happen to some kid who thought it would be cool if this (almost random) person takes their profile and helps them out.
Something I would never do! _________________________________________________________ JAy3k1

Stupid Idea.. Defeats the whole purpose of the gamerscore system..
I know for a fact i dont like other people doing my own achievements..
Sure, ive gotten help from mates playing sometimes but rarely do i NOT get my own achievements..
Thats the whole idea.. If you like gaming then you will want to complete each and everygame..
Look at me for example.. Quake 4 ive had nearly 12 months.. still only 450+ points.. lol.. Same goes for ridgeracer which im on the last race overall..
btw.. This reminds me of a user we used to have around who was ripping off peoples gamercards.. He would say he would work on achievements and then take their accounts..
He was always active in our forums and not ours thank god so we didnt have any issues..

The sense of achievement that you get doing it by yourself is second to none and like you hobbs, some of my mates have got a few achievements for me. Mainly Oblivion that I let my mate play as I don't actually own or play it.
Just a few days ago I got a Burnout achievement of winning 40 Crash events online... Holly cow i was happy, running around the room like a school kid on redbull screaming at everyone else in the server.
I've got and had Blazing Angels for months and not got one single achievement yet. Mind you I just don't play it.
But account hijacking is just wrong and I feel for people that let this happen to them. _________________________________________________________ JAy3k1

HAVE YOU LOOKED AT THE PRICING!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? $299.99 for getting you 3000GS
So lets think, $299.99 for some guy to steal your account! Not for me.

Haha, yeah the pricing is crazy. I decided to omit that from the article so as to not distract people from the point I was trying to get across.
Hey think about it, if you where loaded and just brought your 360, for a mere $997(us) you too can have a 10000 GamerScore. I'm sure they would give you a discount tho. _________________________________________________________ JAy3k1

What is wrong with people these days? This is a whole new low in my opinion.
i hope they ban that site. totally defeats the purpose as hobbs stated. why dont you work for the achievements instead of having someone else do it for you. the memory card trick is also g@y _________________________________________________________ XBOX
