Seriously- I got the core package(AV cables, wired cont., huge f-ing power brick), Hard Drive, Head set, A wireless cont., Perfect Dark Zero, Half life 2 (i know i know, its an xbox title), and Condemned.
It's just...not the same....

Sh*t Hobbs! I thought this was all prearranged with another admin! I'm so sorry dude. I can't even afford to get one myself, let alone front money to get one. I feel pretty sh*tty about this. I had no idea that things didn't work out. As you know until this week, I'd been working 7 days a week just to meet my current bills. Perhaps if the admins try to pool some money? Let's put our heads together in the moderator section and see what we can do guys!

Forahobby- first off, i respect you and im glad that you do alot for your site for us. Like i said before, i did research to find out which xbox site to join. the HQ was and is the best. i know what your saying totally but i think your confused.. No one here is paying for my 360.. I would never ask such a thing.. I am paying for it using my own credit card.. When i quote on the homepage im talking about lining mine up for me and not paying for it.

I think i had better re-read my news story.. I dont want guys paying for my 360 at all.. I never have.. I never received anything from hq apart from a free tshirt from myself and a xbox jewl.. lol
I dont want to give up on the site and probably wont but as im sure you know after several blows it just gets me down and you would probably feel the same..
Personally i donated a few hundrew dollars to modgod when he was in need and also I ship anything i can for free to help to our members so its not that i dont think people can help
The main reason im so upset i think is because its the only real time in 3 years ive asked for something and nothings happened.. lol. I know guys tried but obviously i just dont realise how hard it is or something..
anyway, Ill just keep my chin up.. Im a man of my word and have promised to review some 360 games so ill just have to bit the bullet and pay $2k if need be..

Surely if it's a matter of lining up the purchase of a 360 someone here has the ability or connections to do that. I would have had to pre-purchase a long time ago. I have no connections except the standard Bestbuy like everyone else. The rub is, given this situation, hobbs would be hard pressed to send any $ to anyone before he gets the box for fear (and rightfully so) of the money leaving and the Xbox never arriving. That means we need to pool some $ and get one or someone that can front the money can even get the damn box in the first place. They are scarce now. I have no hope of fulfilling his request on my own currently. Surely one of our members has the way to help.
