Well after the xbox original was modchipped i belive the 360 will be too.. It will take a little longer then the first console but it will happen.. Hopefully some of the softmod exploits may still work but i doubt that.. lol

Then enjoy the system for what it's gonna be. But if what i've heard is correct, you'll be able to create your own designs for the faceplate, and actually SELL them on the XboxLive market place (yes, M$ pays for the distribution and such, you get a percentage of the sale so they can manufacture them).
So, faceplate's taken care of... but the case itself..... I'm always up for a challenge, and if I find the Xbox doesn't match my tv's color, I'll take that monster apart, sand her down, and paint her up a nice crome/silver . How about the first mod - adding an LED fan or cutting a hole in the top and put in a glass window...
