"For optimal performance, we recommend not installing that disc. We will have more info on our Support Site at launch."
They are referring to one of the 2 discs that the game comes in. disc 1 and disc 2. They recomend for now to install disc 1 only and play with disc 2.
Disc 2 is the play disc and they are saying do NOT install that disc to your 360.
Installing both discs can over strain the 360 which can lead to issues like lag, short draw distances, so trees and cars will be rendering close to you rather than far away which takes you out of the game. One guy showed a video where he was playing and crashed into a tree because it rendered just in front of him.
There are news articles coming out on it, maybe someone would like to add it as news. I am headed out to work right now.

I read about that, just haven't had a chance to write an article about it. Seems like the 360 can load from both hdd and dvd simultaneously faster than just one or the other. Thanks for the headsup. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

This vid sums up the difference, If I had the 360 I would for sure play the play disc in the DVD rather than install. Great game, get the best out of it.

GTAV may have pretty graphics but I'm not too big on it yet, I noticed places like the Hospital isn't even rendered on the inside you look in and all you see is a grey blob. I was hoping you could go into more random places but looks as if it's the same idea as gta4. Thrash me over saying that all you want I'm just kind of disappointing in it right now. Sure the graphics are amazing and all it's just bleh to me right now. _________________________________________________________ The internet, a place where people expect you to know what they know.

This game rockstars!
I really didn't get into GTA 4 but GTA 5 is totally cool. There this so much more to it. There's something more fun about it to me. The graphics are a few steps up and that helps but that's not it.
I tried installing a few ways. The best way is install disk 1 and play with disk 2.
This game seems to have rather high frame rates. Very smooth playing which helps me get into it. _________________________________________________________ 10% VIP Discount (Coupon Code: HQ-VIP-001 ) - Signup for web hosting at www.TweakedHosting.com/clients/aff.php?aff=004 and earn the HQ network of sites recurring income!

I was expecting a bit more but eh, with hype you always expect more but never get it. As I say it's one hell of a game it just feels like gta4 with pc mods to me. They left some things unrendered you can tell if you look closely. There were things I was hoping you could do more, go into hospitals/airports what not. Let's admit it going into building and committing massacres were fun in the game.
I'm not hating on it just wish it would of been polished up just a tiny bit more. There are times when I run into things such as volleyball nets and bushes and my car comes to a dead stop and wrecks.
For a billion dollar profitable game I really hope their next update gets packed with more renders. _________________________________________________________ The internet, a place where people expect you to know what they know.

The consoles can only just handle GTAV. I am seriously surprised at how nice they made it. Amazing really.. But my opinion they should have waited for next gen.. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

I don't think they can do the in-building rendering without sacrificing frame rates and overall graphics. Hell, it plays jittery and things pop in and out if you install the whole 2 disks on the drive. It's shows we are at the limits in a number of ways. There's only 512mb ram total for system and GPU, so this is rather impressive at what they have achieved.
To make up for that that they have a super massive sandbox which is so cool to explore. They could have made it so you could enter all the buildings by doing it like Skyrim does with loading each building when you enter it but then you have the broken gameplay. It can get quite annoying having to load so much like in Skyrim. Everytime I turn around I am looking at a load screen blah.
Just wait for xbox one. We'll have nearly no more load screens... Sign me up! Oh wait I already did _________________________________________________________ 10% VIP Discount (Coupon Code: HQ-VIP-001 ) - Signup for web hosting at www.TweakedHosting.com/clients/aff.php?aff=004 and earn the HQ network of sites recurring income!

I'd love to wait and buy an x1 if you'd like to donate me an extra $200s to pay it off. :p _________________________________________________________ The internet, a place where people expect you to know what they know.
