the one that runs a virtual machine/emu as an app to run the last gen games will be the winner for anyone invested in a large game collection imo.
but then its all about money to both m$oft and $ony, so r&d on this wont happen and they wont rls source to the community to get the job done, which is totally inhuman.

totally agree with you there mate. Let's just see huh. I'm guessing no backwards compatibility with the 720. They are being too quite about it. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

I've always had this thought in my head that I'll still have xbox 1, xbox 360 and xbox next all sitting side by side. So I guess it won't matter to me if 720 can not play 360 games. I wonder if 720 will be powerful enough to emulate 360 games. It will be good if it can of course
I'll probably have the PS4 sitting there as well with all these crap rumors coming out about the 720 _________________________________________________________ 10% VIP Discount (Coupon Code: HQ-VIP-001 ) - Signup for web hosting at www.TweakedHosting.com/clients/aff.php?aff=004 and earn the HQ network of sites recurring income!

They have already confirmed the ps4 will stream ps3 games but not run ps3 games natively nor run a ps3 emulator.
I have mixed feelings about 720 and ps4 being basically the same hardware. Game development will be much quicker but I like having some variety. It will more of a coke vs Pepsi instead of coke vs mountain dew.
