If you have been playing your 360 lately, but haven't rated some of the games, please take a minute to visit our games database and rate some of our newer games.. When you rate the game, it helps all of our members see which games really are the best.
^^ i take it one would require a "gametag"? something i'm NOT doing, can't be arsed banning my RGH machine but then again, i NEVER go online with it anyway!
i'll not waste a post so i can recommend some decent 360 games here!
1, silent hill V - homecoming.
a quality addition to the SH storyline, did find this much easier than the earlier stories! (come to think of it, SH1 really did my head in with the puzzle element, gotta know crap like "alice in wonderland" just to have a shot at cracking them...no, not a walkthrough but BRAINS instead) i noticed the main character looks a lot like the actor "robert powell" from "tommy"..
the horror aspect didn't seem to be as gruesome as it's predecessors but the psychological side to it was even better than the earlier stories!
if you've followed the silent hill story up to IV, origins and shattered memories then get this and you'll feel a bit more (DEAD INSIDE) complete! worth every hour blown on it!
.........................
2, star ocean - the last hope.
i have this game for both the ps3 and the 360 and in all objectiveness, the game is IDENTICAL on both platforms bar the fact the ps3 version is "one-disked" as opposed the the 360 "three-disked" version! (really f*cking annoying on the disk swap) a TOP action RPG with a LOT going on!
the earlier SO games (to me) had much more depth as a system and story BUT this latest edition is NO slouch whatsoever!
if you're a GUILTY WEEBOO (not like me lol) then you MUST play this! much to do with a MENTAL (tongue and cheek) storyline!
the game doesn't follow on from it's predecessors (like another RPG series that'll not be named on account it got bummed to DEATH by the fanboyz) so you can just steam right in and beat the sh*t out of the baddies! side-quests are academic in these type of games so you'll NOT be finishing it any time soon!
.......................
3, and lastly (as i'm typing a WALL of death here)
phantasy star - universe.
have them both for the ps2 and the 360, the game is identical on both platforms in terms of gameplay and default plot/action but the 360 version kicks the snot out of the ps2 version on the basic as the engine was redone and a far superior running game was born! all the textures are redone in hi-def PLUS you have the option to "circle-jerk" online with it...probably useful for DLC addons and the like? (i'm not trying it, no intentions of risking my RGH nor does "online MP gaming" get me off)
the game has all the elements you'd expect from the PSO saga but with it's own story and system!
if you've played on the dreamcast releases of PSO back in the day then prepare to get a REALLY warm and fuzzy feeling with that style of gameplay, music and plot, all it's own naturally! (brought up to date without a cut in that "x-factor"...rarely is that the case these days! games are usually GIMPED and dumbed down vs their predecessors but NOT in this instance, it EXCELS them...for once)
.................
so that's my top three recommendations for the 360!

how do i change a rating i was a little harsh on shred i gave it a 5 but i rated it too early its actually a little better than i thought atleast a 6 or 7, as my 3 yr old kills it most days. oh well.
i really liked rage (apart from the final mission just ending and boom your done i would have liked some closure or just something more) and im loving crysis 2 (its way longer than i thought it would be). I am pretty green though, so many games to get to and most of them are only a few bucks by now.

Right now its not possible, I can remove your rating manually though myself. Maybe this is something i should fix in the future. Let me know which game you want to change. as many as you like and ill remove all the ratings you gave. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

no problem, you can rate it again now. That game doesn't have many ratings either..
it requires a skate board controller which only works in a few games, its pretty hard core controller with light and pressure sensors and a gyro, i got it for $20NZD like new Disc and board.
my 3yr old daughter loves this game, but all i can think is how can i hack this board controller up and make it do other stuff? lol

^^
THIS is what separates us from the f*ckin grelbeez and wood-wizards! (that's moddiing alright, thinking outside the box!)
if you do "convert/hack" it up for other uses, you HAVE to post back the results!
if not, oh well..wishful thinking on both our parts!
(i'm thinking security purposes for the sensors and a virtual spirit-level using the gyro...allsorts man!) _________________________________________________________ to all my friends... farewell and all the best to future prosperity... and remember, be excellent to each other!
