I'm not sure if you have read some of my forums threads about my TOSHIBA QOSMIO x770 which died just after the warranty period, but today I have ordered the new x870 QOSMIO, this time with a new replacement warranty which covers the machine for a brand new repacement for up to 3 years and i will soon be running WINDOWS 8.
its nice , pretty cool everything you can do with it, i have been using it for a few months with the release preview. you can have the new windows layout like what you would have on a windows phone, which is the new start menu on pc , or you can have the normal desktop. like i said its nice, but keep in mind it's still windows _________________________________________________________

If work had more Linux machines I would. I need to support a bunch of Windows 8/7 and NT Server users so its good to have a machine to walk them through on.. I love linux to so don't worry. I have 2 x linux servers at home which i shell and telnet into all the time. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

We have one Windows 8 Pro 32 bit at the house. Compared to Vista it has made the PC like a new one. It's really better for speed and turns off and on real quick. I can only imagine what 64 bit would be like.
If it's like Windows 7, on my laptop, going from 32 bit to 64 bit was like night and day with almost twice the performance.
I like Windows 8 just fine and it is really easy to use. Forget about the handheld version, no laptop needs that. Go with the full Pro version at least. There's nothing to be sorry about if you do.
I still like Windows 7 overall as I am a person who likes to get to the inner workings of things but you can still do that in Windows 8 if need be.
I am heavily thinking to go with a Windows 8 type phone because it would integrate perfectly when and if I go head first with Windows 8 on my super computer. I'd run by business from anywhere in that case and it might just suck me in.
As you all know, I am big with Linux just not as a desktop. For servers it's the balls all the way. _________________________________________________________ 10% VIP Discount (Coupon Code: HQ-VIP-001 ) - Signup for web hosting at www.TweakedHosting.com/clients/aff.php?aff=004 and earn the HQ network of sites recurring income!

There are still people out there running Windows XP thinking the same thing about Windows 7. Anyway, some old PC's should just stay with old software and when their PC die's they should just send them to me. _________________________________________________________ 10% VIP Discount (Coupon Code: HQ-VIP-001 ) - Signup for web hosting at www.TweakedHosting.com/clients/aff.php?aff=004 and earn the HQ network of sites recurring income!
