I don't I am limited in the place (where cable enters the house) and I am also limited to use the ISP router (which sucks, it uses internl antenna).
What I am gonna do is disable wireless and connect my TPlink router by wired Lan, then the TPlink will share it via wireless using a big external antenna (so I may get to see Netflix in HD on my xbox)
Give it a try and let us know how you make out _________________________________________________________ 10% VIP Discount (Coupon Code: HQ-VIP-001 ) - Signup for web hosting at www.TweakedHosting.com/clients/aff.php?aff=004 and earn the HQ network of sites recurring income!

@tweaked I have the same 34mb of D. and 2mb of U. either with wireless N or wired Lan. (I have made the test)
that's all well and good but the wireless will be more flaky than the ethernet wired for thousands of reasons. Even atmospheric pressure is capable of effecting it. You did say the connection is not full on your wireless and you hinted that you can't even watch a HD video stream. I can almost guarantee that it is not your internet connection itself ( unless they have their own issues) as mine is half what yours is and I can have up to 3 smooth 3 HD streams at a time ( 2 netflix (2 Roku's) and one xbox movies or Amazon or Redbox Instant or Hulu, or Vudo) plus VOIP and people using internet on computers. I'll admit that sometimes the video streaming resolution lessens at times if things are hoping around here but it is not terribly hard to saturate mu 17mb up and 1 mb down internet connection
That wired thing, using the electricity in the wall by sending specific signal frequencies from one box plug to another box plug, is not the kind of wired we are all talking about. Those walled electrical outlet things are plagued with interference due to the anything goes alternating current and would never be my choose for any form of networking except in a post apocalyptic survival situation lol hehehe _________________________________________________________ 10% VIP Discount (Coupon Code: HQ-VIP-001 ) - Signup for web hosting at www.TweakedHosting.com/clients/aff.php?aff=004 and earn the HQ network of sites recurring income!

You are making a confusion, I can see HD video stream, I can't not always watch it on my Slim Xbox (in my room) because it's too far away from the router (including walls and concrete ground and not mention the x360 wireless is small as fuck I bet external adapter of the phat console is better) _________________________________________________________

No confusion, it's exactly my point - wireless and interference go hand and hand but yeah with straight line of site and little interference WIFI can rock.
By the way, the office workers need to complain to upper management about their It tech departments lack of insight at network management. Anything can be solved with wires and the right equipment _________________________________________________________ 10% VIP Discount (Coupon Code: HQ-VIP-001 ) - Signup for web hosting at www.TweakedHosting.com/clients/aff.php?aff=004 and earn the HQ network of sites recurring income!
