Microsoft will release the next version of its Xbox video-game machine, the top-selling console, in time for the holidays next year, according to Bloomberg.
I'm sure it is true. We'll probably see the new console unveiled at E3 this year and then it will launch next winter. Just like the Wii U. _________________________________________________________

Well rumors are that they will hold their own event to release the next Xbox.. The PS3 was supposed to be a 10 year system. If Sony holds true to that, we shouldn't see the next Playstation until 2016. _________________________________________________________

In all honesty I think they should wait until 2014, there are some great titles being released still and how would you feel if you bought GTA5 for 360 only to hear the 720 is going to be released next month?

wont be bad if they actually make it were you could play your xbox 360 games on the new one but no i bet ms wont do any such thing if they do what they did with the original xbox i myself will for sure not be buying the next game console they come out with start to be like apple (change one little thing and call it a new version make everyone rebuy everything ect... ha well anyways goodnight ha _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!

The Xbox360 is on market since 2006, so we cant bitch about it... it's actually pretty old.
The end of 2013 is probably the best idea to release a new hardware. _________________________________________________________

Sometimes old is better, I do know one thing once the servers go offline it will be hacked worse then it is now.
The 360 does have Xbox 1 backwards comparability but needing another $100 part is bullshit. Hopefully the new one will have a changeable HDD bay.
