I just finished tweaking the web server. Is it me or are things even faster now? It seems to be more instant than before.
Please let me know if you think the pages are faster now or not. Working on tweaking the database server. We should be able to see more visitors at any given time with the new settings. I have been taking notes over the last 3 months on the activities of the site and how everything interacts with the server and finding where the bottle necks may be.

Still lickity split for me. Faster than ever. Only thing I see is some ads take longer than the scripting of the site. Can't do anything about the ads. They are external and that is not my thing.
This is very resource intensive site especially when it has over 2000 visitors. Thing is, in Chrome everything is like instant for me. In Firefox, it loads in parts and takes a bit longer. In IE it takes a little longer than Firefox.
Chrome is great!
The ads seem to sometimes delay the load a bit for me which is no fault of the web server. It's working. At this very moment, the most users on the site at one time that I have seen is 2387. We have broken the 2300 barrier and the site is still fast. There was a slight waiting time for users after 2200 and sometimes you would get some slowdowns above this number but now over 2300 visitors and it is great.
To the server itself, the HQ sites are really nothing. Processing load is and has been rather low and there is plenty of headroom with the ram, it is really that for every single click to each page, hundreds of things have to happen for each time, also getting MySQL to be efficient at serving and adding content has been tricky.
