1. There have been no big announcements for new games in 2013. Check out the 360-HQ games database, and you will see what i mean - http://games.360-hq.com
2. The console is at the end of is cycle, you can tell because all of the latest games are not improving. The developers are now currently making the best possible games on the console.
3. Xbox LIVE is once again a multi-platform network.
eg. Windows PC / Xbox 360 / Windows Phone / Tablet
I have no doubt it is ready for the next xbox, but i don't think they will support xbox 360 on xbox live for long, especially after the new console is released. I'm expecting xbox live support for 360 to only last around 3-4 years max.
I wonder if those that have High end PC or PCs that will already run DX11 will really care at all.
Most PC games already have 360 controller support.

So you might want to enlighten all of us on all of these new games coming on the PC only?? lol Oh and my consoles graphics card doesn't overheat half way through the game and reset.. lol. just speaking from experience. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

I am looking forward to the end of life of 360. That's when I will start modding it. I equally can't wait for the next xbox. One more year is too long of a wait. I have quite a kick butt computer gaming setup with SLI and super duper graphics but I still prefer to game on the console overall.
edit: but I still enjoy building my computers so I am in a slow process of building a mega high end gaming computer. I like running benchmarks and tweaking settings actually more than playing games on the computer lol ... so I am sure I'll still be playing 360 and the next xbox for years to come. _________________________________________________________ 10% VIP Discount (Coupon Code: HQ-VIP-001 ) - Signup for web hosting at www.TweakedHosting.com/clients/aff.php?aff=004 and earn the HQ network of sites recurring income!

Maybe a good reason not too many big games may come out for 360 in 2013 is not just because it has no power left to exploit (because it does) but that they are focusing the next big game development on the new console. For example, the next Elder Scrolls game will be on the new xbox. _________________________________________________________ 10% VIP Discount (Coupon Code: HQ-VIP-001 ) - Signup for web hosting at www.TweakedHosting.com/clients/aff.php?aff=004 and earn the HQ network of sites recurring income!

I hope Battlefield 4 comes out on the new machine.. It will be a waste of time on the existing console. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

Now this is going to be intresting.. will we see a PS4 also this year? Still not gonna afford buy any of them though lol.
But i wanna see the improvments really, i'm getting tired of the 360 and i wanna see something new. Gonna be fun to see what the 720 will bring to the table. _________________________________________________________ Just a random 19 year old kid from Sweden, no biggie right? -> HQS1mme.com

I guess you guys are right. I remember thinking the same thing. It's like many of the new games are just different scenarios and locations with the same graphics. It really would be nice to have a console with 1 GB (make that 2 GB please) plus RAM and SSD drive (I doubt it). Heck even the 360 dash boards seems slow to me now like the apps loading. I guess my computer has sort of spoiled me with near instant on / off and blink of the eye program loading. I don't even have SSD yet but my custom built computer will have it.
There's a rumor floating around that PS4 will be out around the same time as 720. It's sounds like Microsoft is forcing Sony's hand this time so the PS4 might just turn out to be a rush job. At least they are a great hardware manufacture so they might be just fine but I doubt it will be the machine they really wanted it to be if they had waited another year. Who knows maybe they will wait another year. _________________________________________________________ 10% VIP Discount (Coupon Code: HQ-VIP-001 ) - Signup for web hosting at www.TweakedHosting.com/clients/aff.php?aff=004 and earn the HQ network of sites recurring income!

To be honest MOST if not all 'good' games are already ported to PC.
Consoles really dont have that many major exclusives that I'd care enough to throw out $500 on a new system.

Not really, remember the first games for 360? They were only a little better than xbox1 version (hitman 4 for example)
I am guessing new console at Christmas of this year for the reason you describe on the first post.
We dont even see big banning waves anymore. _________________________________________________________
