A new bill called Protection Children from Internet Pornographers Act is the big one now. It pretty much would allow the US government to track all of the websites you visit and all of the transactions you make.
The only way it could possibly pass now is if they waited 6 months and then tried to pass it again under the radar. I doubt that would work though because many senators are now against the bill and I'm sure the internet would rise up again to stop it. _________________________________________________________

Let's just shut down the whole internet and start writing on stone tablets. Nearly everything stops working once the oil runs out anyway. No more tires for cars or fuel to run them. Same with planes, trains and the whole industrial farms of America and the world. All the bull shit is related down the road. It's taken oil to support the huge population of the world. In some of our life times, we may just see billions die once the oil is gone. It sucks how man has created his own death but our computers and nearly everything exists at it's current level because of oil.
What's that got to do with the crap of internet censorship? Nothing directly but ultimately these things would not even be an issue if it were not for oil. Anyway, be careful what you type and say. The way it has been with the web hosting industry is that the host in general does not allow illegal content on their systems. It is impossible to actually keep all users legal in reality. It just takes a nano second for someone to abuse a service in some way. Yet the host strives for a clean legal service. To me, it seems rather unrealistic to penalize a web hosting service because some users abuse the service. With this notion in mind, you would have to shut down all web hosts around the globe. Which is nearly the end of the internet. A part of the internet are Universities and I know for a fact the systems of Universities are constantly used for illegal activity in various ways.
Some very powerful of mind individuals are going to get sick of the injustice and the totalitarianism approach to internet censorship. Sadly, you can not make tires with solar energy. 4 tires equals 8 barrels of oil I believe it is. That is just a drop in the bucket compare to everything that oil supports and is only possible because of oil. Man would have been better of if they never found the oil and slowly developed other sustainable energy means. If you could harvest enough of the energy from the sun, you could use that energy to make oil. Then you could use that oil to create tires. Solar energy is already 32% effective and research is being done on it. In the future experts are looking at the possibility of setting up large solar panels in space that send energy back wirelessly. _________________________________________________________
