I just loaded up New Vegas. It's not bad but it clearly does not have the level of dynamic visual effects that is in Skyrim. The graphics in New Vegas are more washed out, not as much color and I see more pop up. Things seem less distinct and effects barely exists compared to Skyrim. The overall look and feel is just better in Skyrim. It even seems smoother to play or something in Skyrim, something I can't put my finger on. There is just a strange, sort of blocky effect for some shadows which I think the PS3 would handle that a little better.
I've seen a few graphical glitches in Skyrim. Like water changing it's texture in certain areas and IP's appearing then reappearing but I'd say that this game engine is the best it has been yet on the 360.
All I can say on a 62" DLP 1080P TV, this game shines beautifully, a wow factor game for me.
Then the story is just plain cool. I love this game! I assumed as much, just was making sure
On some forum I used to belong to they wouldn't let you rate the game if you didn't own the game for Xbox because they thought the other versions could have differences that skewed the number somehow. _________________________________________________________
