Which would you prefer as a ranking system in MW3 or future MW Games.
The current system where you get to a top level then can prestige, where total time to max out top prestige with top level takes (X) hours of playtime.

A system where it takes the same number of Hours to max out but no prestige. The levels from 1 to 55 (or what ever) is spaced out so to get to the last level and unlock last weapon takes the same X hours.

I seen an article today that claimed MW3 will have 16 prestige levels. I for one like working towards leveling up in a game and unlocking new weapons and other gear. Gives me a goal in a game, but I really do not get excited to prestige so I can get a new picture for my badge or a number by my gamer tag in game.
I personally would prefer they stretch the weapon unlocks and levels out over the same amount of playtime/kills/head shots. It would make unlocking and being able to use a cool weapon at lets say level 30 much more satisfying. I want to really have to put in some serious work to unlock a weapon or perk. I think it would be cool to know someone that has unlocked a javelin or a Pro Perk has really put in some serious work. I think this would be much more interesting than everyone and their mother having everything after a couple days.
I would rather see the game as 1 long marathon than a bunch of trips around the block. Then there can always be the option to prestige at the end of that and get something really special.

Out of all the cod games i have only ever prestiged in Black ops. I don't have the time for that kinda stuff anymore.. I don't think they should change it this far in, it will piss off so many fanboys. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

I really do like the system it is now. Why ? Becuz i really do wanna start all over again alot of times. i completely agree, starting over from scratch is also satisfying but maybe they could put in a weapon or perk only avaliable at x prestige which could then entice the gamers to keep prestiging if they like....but i agree they should go back to the way you get gold guns in cod 4..that way you dont have to max level 16 times....good post Simme _________________________________________________________
