Well I finaly tried the Gears of War series (GoW 2) and I gotta say im kinda mad. At myself for not trying it sooner Ive put in at least 5 or 6 hours today on it and thats a first in I dont know how long. Its rare that a game can actualy hook me like this. Now I cant wait for #3.

Gears of War 1 online = my entire Xbox Live gaming experience for my freshman and sophomore year of high school. Gears of War 1 is a great game online and has a great campaign.
Gears of War 2 was a huge disappointment for me though. The online was not fun at all, the shotgun was worthless, and horde mode was alright for a little bit. _________________________________________________________
I agree with the shotgun it is pretty crappy, but damn does it make em bleed. I think the big thing for me is it reminds me of Res Evil 5, just Im blastin aliens instead of zombies. The Horde was fun but all I got were those land mine guys no real challenge to it. Just back against the wall opposite the car and pick em off at your leisure. One things certain Im grabbing a copy of 3 on tuesday if I can find one.
