well i have not messed with a pc dvd drive but all should be similar u just have to figure out what one is the dvd part and what one is the cd part some come with just being one i think too not sure though. And on tweaking the pc one i would check if the reading is showing low 2.0-3.0 then bump it up a little at a time. if its showing high 5.0+ then bump it down a little at a time and keep testing thing that sucks about pc version you have to keep putting back into computer to test with the xbox 360 u can just pop off the plastic piece on the top of the dvd case and test live with the xbox on which i dont recommend to first timers as you might accidentally short out something if you drop anything metal when its on ha. _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!

Back on the original topic, The drive works fine now. It was just completely covered in dust. Dirtiest Xbox I'd ever seen. Q-tip and alcohol did the trick. _________________________________________________________
