Over the last week i have been having a couple of problems with my 360.
1. The screen keeps flicking from 16:9 to a 4:3 size, this only appears to happen on XBLA games. My TV is set so that it should only display in 16:9 rather switching the display bassed on the signal and my 360 is set to output in widescreen.
2. I tried to download the Topspin demo and it failed, i tried again a couple of days later and, again it failed. I then tried to down load another demo and that failed. I checked that my HD has enouth space, reporting 8GB free. I had 9 demo on my HD, once i deleted one of the demos i could download another game demo (not top spin).
Has any one had these problems, also why does a fresh HD only have 12GB free, what does the 360 need 6GB for.
Thanks for any comments / help.

Welcome to 360-HQ!
The XBox 360 comes with movies/music/pictures etc... that help take up that 6gb along with system files of course.
As for your troubles I cannot really help other than people saying they get trouble with 1080i so try your 360 on 720p but I think thats only this blue screen effect.
