That is strange, Maybe it is a regional thing. But if you like, Tell me what you want your New Youtube account name to be and Ill try to make the account for you from here then send you the account info and email account info I set up so you have access and then you can change your passwords and email info once you get on to your new account.
I think you can still change the chosen language on youtube after an account is created if you wanted to switch to your home countries.
Question for the rest of you..
are we all using the same Youtube with youtube just changing the translation to your choice or are there totally different servers depending on what area you are in?
UPDATE...
Just for the hell of it, I typed in Youtube.ru in my web browser.. It brough up the russian youtube set up. It is in russian language and the spotlight videos on the right hand side are in russian and are russian videos.
But the main page still recognizes me and shows my same name and subscription videos on the home page there. So looks like the addy changes what default language and videos come up but will not change your account. so If I set up an account for you here you should have no problem viewing it as if you set it up yourself from Sweden.

I went to set up an account, first I needed to make a new dummy Gmail, but alas, it looks like Gmail requires everyone to now give a mobile number for verification! F@#*(N google, Nazies I tell ya.
F*** that! So I looked in my records and found an old gmail account I used once to sign up for something, I just used that and set up a youtube account for you.
The Gmail info and Youtube Info has been sent to your PM here on the HQ.
Should have all the info you need to get on youtube and google and change your passwords/names etc.
Have fun, I already added our own youtube page HQnetworkworldwide to your subscriptions.
