Hey everyone,
I have been saving to get a new laptop for months and months now and i am just about to decide on what i will be going for. Do any of you have suggetions for a great gaming/work laptop.
It MUST have full 1920x1080 HD on the laptop and be no smaller than 18" display.
BUDGET MAX: $3.5k
I need something very powerful preferably with 1.5-2gb of Graphics RAM minimum on-board since i use Macromedia Flash, Adobe Photoshop, HD Video Encoder (1080p) and several other apps open at the same time while i do my work. I will be running 8gb DDR3 ram minimum.

It will also be a hulking giant with little battery life. My friend has a $1400 gaming laptop and the thing is like 10 pounds and runs out of battery after 2 hours max. Not really too portable _________________________________________________________

much more portable than trying to drag a desktop around to clients with you.. hahhaha 20 minutes battery life my ass, maybe a few years ago.
My current laptop is always powered anyway, its not like im expecting to play black ops on batteries anyway, thats just stupid.. lol _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

I recommend going custom built laptops as they have to be done manually with what you want in them compaired to others that are just down a assembly line.
Mine came down a assembly line: Did not last more then a year
Friends he had his custom like i listed above for you and hes had his now for 4+ years no hick-ups if you spending money get it custom
EDIT: dam that 2nd one you posted hobbs looks badass i have a friend that has almost the same series little bit bigger then most laptops but reason being so much more shit in it ha. plus i like the bigger ones more better airflow then the skinny ones they have now a days that i have seen. _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!

Yeh, that 2nd one is what i want, just wish it was new, its a factory refurb with warranty if i want it. Im gonna keep hunting so if anyone see's a laptop and has a link just post it!
i've had several laptops, its all about where you store them and if you leave them on all the time. I find if you leave them on 24x7 they last much longer.. My bud bought one like 2 years ago for $3k and its dead already since he rarely used it, the laptop im using is still running HQ..
oh and brands to have alot to do with how long its going to last.
