ALRIGHT GUYS! as a heads up i got the job a very very good job lol they will be moving me and my girlfriend out to Arizona on the 21 of February so for a few day i may be absent due to a lack of internet just to let you know and now for the topic off this modded 360 of mine im sure some of you are wondering how much did it cost? well there is the price of the console 199.95 for the 4gb, but other than that with a little trial and error and some imagination it doesn't have to cost much. it helps if you already have some stuff laying around. for instance the lcd tv, that actually came out of a portable dvd player we were no longer using i just moved stuff around to make that work,the led lights, well instead of spending a crap load on a bunch i went to walmart during the holiday season and bought a 150 count strand of super brite led Christmas lights and striped them out for about 6 bucks and they work GREAT!and i went to radio shack and picked up a bag of 500 count mixed matched resistors,the lovely yellow trim you see on it is actually yellow auto wiring i picked up for doing the led"s and was what was left so i carefully glued that in place with super glue.the wiring i got at a auto parts store which is the same place i got the carbon fiber wrap that is now hugging the console ever so tightly lol. all and all i think when it comes to the mod it's self i spent about 60 bucks not bad,now of course if you does this and don't have things just laying around that price will change.I'm sure i"m forgetting a lot,and i"m sure you all have questions,i would be happy to answer any and all of them and if your seeking advice on a project i would be happy to help any way i can anytime hope you all have a great day _________________________________________________________

well lets hope you did not pick the console up for $299 if its a 4gb cus then you got jewed unless it came with the kinect. 4gb is $199.99 and $299 if it comes with the kinect if you get the bundle pack saves like $50 or so. the 250gb one is $299.99.
But this is pretty sweet mod great work on everything i like it. Great news on the job i wish i can find a better job mines killing me for little pay lmao. Cant wait to see more cool mods coming out with the new xbox 360 i am still waiting on what i want to do with mine lol. _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!
hey everyone sorry about the lack of updates on this post but it's been busy to say the least with moving and starting the new job but i'll be updating this post soon and mybe starting a new one with a new project? so look at this post it's obvious what kind of modding i do and throw me some ideas for a 250 gb slim project we will make it a team effort lol. and come on hobbs i know you have some ideas lol _________________________________________________________
Ive always wanted to see one thats set up proper IE the way you would do it if building as a PC.
Pocket bay at the base on the front so you can just flip it up and slide in a HDD.
Dedicated GPU (which obviously isnt available here but Id love to see on the next gen) above the drive
CPU with a real PC heatsink not the fanless we see on the 360 (maybe possible on a mod)
Duo system fan across the top to vent
Realy it would look the same but just wider to accomadate the HDD bay
