I voted Crysis 2.. I would have voted call of duty but there is no word yet on a 2011 version, even though we all know it will be coming. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

My vote would have to go towards Gears of War 3 xbox wise. For PC I'm really looking forward to age of empires online because I've always loved that series. _________________________________________________________

Mass Effect 3 and ... Mass Effect 3
The others games are great but Mass Effect is so great, it is a continuous game, You import you character from Mass Effect to Mass Effect 2 and then to Mass Effect 3 _________________________________________________________
I played through Mass Effect 1 in august in about 2 weeks and it was a lot of fun. Soooo much easier and better to play it on the PC compared to the xbox. I rushed and bought ME2 on steam right after I finished ME1 and was disappointed. The controls are different, the sensitivity is really high and there is no way to change that, you now have to use ammo, and the weapon system is a lot different. Only played it for about 2 hours before stopping.
Then today I started playing it again. Still the same problems, but the game is mildly fun and the story is good like the first game. I still think I like the first game more and hope the third game is more like it. Either way I'll probably end up getting ME3 on steam when it comes out and play through it. Good thing I'll always have ME1 to play through again if I need to _________________________________________________________

Thats because the game maximized gameplay for console controls which may not work to good in PC, in xbox360 it was like 3 times better than Mass Effect 2. Mass Effect 3 will probably follow that line... I love it and I havent yet played the XBL add-ons _________________________________________________________
Well I played ME1 on the xbox 360 back when it first came out and I didn't like it too much. It was because the controls were too clunky, there wasn't enough buttons for all of the things. Playing the game through on the PC was great, much more streamlined and easy to use. ME1 was great overall a great game (except for the mako. That was still more fun than scanning planets). The controls for ME2 has been changed to the point where the sprint button in the the first one now moves your squad. So I'm constantly moving my squad when I don't mean to.
As I was playing more of ME2 last night, I still just hate the ammo system so much. The whole ammo thing makes no sense in the first place because how can you go from weapons with no ammo 3 years ago to having all weapons with ammo? It just makes no sense to me. If there were some weapons that still did not have to have ammo I wouldn't mind it so much because it would make sense in terms of the games story. There is no way that in 3 years time ALL of the weapons that don't use ammo were destroyed and replaced with ones that use ammo. It's just not possible.
Another small annoyance is having to drive the ship around to move to other planets. Nothing more annoying than flying somewhere and then having to turn around because your out of fuel or probes. It was just an unnecessary expense they added to the game to make it feel a little more realistic (although, I don't see why it would need fuel since I think I remember them saying that the normandy could go 10 years without fueling in the first game. Meaning that if the new normandy was an exact copy like they say, then it would also not need fuel for 10 years). _________________________________________________________
