Next step..How to remove the outer shell.

This picture shows,the back of the new 360.

With the side casings unclipped from the back.



Plz take note and take a good look at this pic.

My finger shows the hidden clip behind the warranty sticker.

My thumb shows another release clip,Look to the right of this pic and you will see another 2 release clips.

Ther are 4 release clips on the back of the new 360 all 4 of them have to be released.

Sorry had to edit..agen...Mite have to edit a bit more later.

Enyway next step.

Tell you what, i wish they added a shitload more USB outlets on the original design.. I need a slim so bad.. Nice job on the tear apart ufo1234, i've been enjoying reading and viewing your progress!

To remove the two outer side panels.

You need to unclip the four release clips,that are located across the back of the new 360 slim.

In this picture im useing a small screw driver to push the clips apart.


Please note..
This picture is the top of the new 360 slim.

I have left the wireless card in place on this picture.

The wireless card will have to be removed,before you remove the outer side panels,because the wireless card will catch,on one of the side panels.

Hear are the other two clips that have to be unclipped ..

This picture shows the bottom of the new 360.(The bottom of the new 360 is wher the hard drive is located)Or fitted.

The top release clip is easy visible in this picture.

The second relase clip is not visiable.

This picture also shows,wher im puting or useing the small screw driver to release,or unclip,the second,release clip..On the hard drive end or,bottom end,of the new 360 slim.

Ok now we have released all of the four rear clips,all we have to to now is lift the bottom side panel from the face plate.

Lift the bottom side panel from the back of the new 360 slim upwards.

Then the side panel will unclip itself from the four clips that hold the bottom side panel to the face plate.
