This is a top viue of the new 360.

With the top inner and outer panels removed.
This pic also has 1 of the side panels removed.

The picture shows the location of the wireless card.The wireless card is located on the top left hand side on the new 360 slim.
As sean in the picture below.

Now we need to remove the outer shell.

The outer shell has 4 parts.

x 2 Side panels.. TOP and BOTTOM.

x 1 FACE PLATE.

x 1 REAR PANEL COVER, S/PDIF A/V HDMI AUX USB.

Notes..

Please note that the outer cover,or outer shell,is like the Fat 360.

Yes... The new 360 slim has two side panels,and a face plate.
The shell also has a Rear panel cover.. S/PDIF A/V HDMI AUX USB.

The box i pulled apart was still under Warranty.

Was lucky to get my hands on it..the owner did knock it over, M£oft would have flagged the damage.

So just fawt ide share,,,,the info.

Never got to open the 250gb had one but never opended it. Like hobbs said this would make a excellent tutorial.

Outer shell removal.

Turn the new 360 over,and take a look at the back.

Remove the sticker,next to wher the power suplie plugs in.

As shown in the next picture.

please take note(this is a Warranty Sticker)

Ther are two Warranty Stickers on the new 360 slim...Ile explane about the other Warranty Sticker,when i get to that step of removing the outer shell.

Hear is a picture with the rear warranty sticker removed.

You have to remove the rear warranty sticker because ther is a release catch hidden behind the rear warranty sticker.

Look closely at this pic and you will see the 3 marks on the case,wher i have pushed the catch with a small screw driver to release the hidden Catch.

I had a few stabs at it before i got it released...1 good push in the middle of wher the rear warranty sticker was located should release..This catch.
