Trying to get my hands on a $1400 Google Tv setup. Had to make a video under 1 min stating why i love google tv and Youtube, (yes a little butt kissing) But not a lie, looks like you can do some amazing stuff on the new system.
The video is very low quality done with a broke camera, bad lighting and a non-artist (me) and in a rush to get it in on the deadline.
but I think I got a shot at winning one of 100 google tvs based on how few people entered and one of the criteria was creativity, and looks like 99% of the entrants are just talking heads infront of a web cam saying, "I really need a new tv".
Anyway none of the judging is based on views or any of that, but I figured it cant hurt if the judges see at least some views and a good number of Thumbs ups.
So please go to the video and give a thumbs up Everyone. I will report back in a couple weeks to let you know if I am one of the winners, If so Ill post a pic of me using 360-HQ on the new 46" Google Tv while watching Dexter at the same time with its Picture in Picture feature.

just drew a little took a still pic with a digital camera That I suspended above the board with a home made rig, drew a little more took a pic and so on, then downloaded all the pics, like 700 to windows movie maker and made each pic one frame about .20seconds long, then added a royalty free audio file. thats about it. Had some cool stuff but had to cut a bunch out to not go over the 1 min limit. I would have liked to take my time with it and do much better with the drawings but I had to hurry to get it uploaded.

Looks really cool, and the music suits it.
Very imaginative.
Edit: and goodluck with the competition man, hope you get one.

When do the competition winners get announced? Lucky buggers..
They will have the top 100 and 50 alternates picked out by the 30th of december. Those will be notified at that time,
then they will go carefully through each of those 100 and look for anything that could get them disqualified such as using the wrong logo or something, then an alternate will take that place.
Final 100 winners will be chosen on the 20th of January.
But if I do not hear anything by the 1st of january, I did not get in. Which would suck because I see the majority are lame, many are trash and a handfull are pretty good.
They have a gallery of those that have not been rejected right off the bat, but I dont see mine in there, I have seen many other peoples videos that are not in the gallery that are awesome and well within the rules, So I am hoping that we are just still in the to be looked at pile. Or if we are very lucky maybe in a Already set asside as Keepers thus not in gallery for further judging. Fingers crossed.
