Well yesterday i updated my 360 all when well but about 1 or 2 hours later the console started hanging, every game I tried caused the console to and so i thought WTF so I tried restarting it, to my surprise I was presented with the initial installation screen so followed the instructions again then I had to reconfigure Xbox live setting and now every time I go into Xbox live setting and it try to detect my settings it just freezes
I have phoned Microsoft and they have said some consoles are not accepting the update correctly and we are working on a solution
The guy at Xbox told me that the Xbox live team are looking into it and I should receive a phone call today or tomorrow with a solution

NO Problems here..
1 x 360 NTSC Console..
hope you get it sorted.. Im sure they will have to release another update for those consoles with probs.
I myself had a few issues with some of the new buttons in the blades giving errors but i can live with that..
let us know how you go.. Hope it dont take long dude.
im still wating for them to call so i had a chat with my friend he has i simulare problem to me, when he goes to the Xbox Market place and looks throught the list he keeps getting an error

Thats the exact error i received after the update was complete and my 360 rebooted.. I tried to access the xbox live marketplace and the arcade games area.. It gave that exact error and a code..
I just rebooted my machine and it has never done it since.. I guess im lucky..
Hope its not long before your prob is sorted guys.. Im sure M$ can force updates without a prob for you..
Maybe they might give you some tips for the future on how to manually get a update for the dash.. You can bet there would be some method they could tell you to initiate it.

hey rs6,
quit dropping the sites pagerank in google.. Everytime you come close to a swear word you drop the sites popularity by 5%.. So dont swear too much please.. We are trying to get listed by google daily and it indexes every post bro.. If you do sweat make it look nothing like what its meant to be.. and i mean nothing like it..
